It is said that "students of the Occult must be among the masses but not of them." A crisis in the outer world should not effect a student who has mastered the "crises" – difficulties, trials and tribulations – in his inner world. As far as future world wide crises, the masses are like the frog who has been in the slowly warming water until now it is nearly boiling and he does not have the slightest idea of his situation. By now it must be obvious that there are those who are striving for a world government. For this to happen each nation must surrender its sovereignty. The European Union (EU) demonstrates this with the installation of the euro note January 1. 1999. Canada, America, Mexico and South America are soon to come on-line. Americans seem to be presenting a problem to the global government. It had been planned that the world would be completely under control of the global government by the year 2000. This is not likely at the present rate of converting the mind set of older Americans. America is the last of the best armed citizenry in the world and this is the big problem for the world government. I am incline to think the Y2K bug is an excellent opportunity to create chaos in this country so that marshall law can be declared. Clinton signed an Executive Order giving FEMA complete control in the event of marshal law. Most of our military bases that have been closed are now occupied by UN troops training for civil unrest. Most of the UN soldiers are Russian. U.S. military and individual state national guards are coordinating efforts with FEMA, Clinton was a Bilderberg before he entered office and is working to destroy American sovereignty. His strategy is to create conditions which warrant laws to correct them. For example: we all know he has been striving for gun control. But at the same time the Clinton administration has just approved importing a variation of the Russian-designed AK-47 assault rifle from the Kalashnikov small arms complex in Russia. The new sniper-type rifle is available through Kalashnikov-USA-Ltd., in Port St. Lucie, Fla. and another distribution outlet on the West Coast. Of course, this is not a hunting rifle and could eventually result in an excuse to confiscate all weapons. The one thing to remember is you can not trust the establishment news media in this country. This includes TV. It is controlled. Select one of the "free press" media that does not use the wire services. You will get an entirely different story from the free press. Then you must make up your mind who is telling the truth. I use Liberty Lobby’s SPOTLIGHT. It has a good track record. I put several of their articles on my web site each week. You can find them on the Signs of the Time page. The Assistant Fire Chief of my district was the one that alerted me to the Y2K bug. I am working on several Y2K projects at this time: both personal and community. And have also put many links on my Links page for Y2K. I believe the "people problem" will be worse than the "computer problem". I have seen how happy, fun loving people celebrate after a Bronco’s victory here in Denver by starting fires, overturning cars and just plain rioting so that law enforcement has to use tear gas and make mass arrests. Beth: Throughout recorded history several cultures & civilizations have had mythological figures & spiritual activities whose focus was wine. From a mythological viewpoint, there might be several reasons for this: 1. The clear relationship between viticulture/winemaking & the natural flow of the seasons: Dormancy…Bud break…Bloom…Shatter…First Cover… Veraison… Harvest… Dormancy, etc… Moreover; wine making activities seem to coincide very well with the seasons (fermentation takes place while it is still fairly warm, stabilizing while it is cold…) 2. The spontaneous generation (thanks to yeast) of wine from grape juice – _Even without human intervention_. The wine "makes itself", therefore it was (is) seen as having consciousness. 3. The clear symbolism offered by wine of a transformation from a lesser thing (grape juice) in to a higher, ascendant thing (wine). 4. The obvious phycho-chemical reactions brought on by ethyl alcohol. 5. The clear symbolism of a divine reward for hard work & of man’s ability to better harness nature’s power through his efforts: a trained, pruned vine yields much better fruit than a wild vine. 6. The fact that in ancient times, wine was more aseptic than any other beverage. Indeed, wine was a necessity or a "subsistance item" for many ancient cultures. 7. Wine is the primal representation of man’s advance from hunting & gathering to agriculture. Like us, the vines "came down from the trees". 8. The grapevine is a clear symbol of fertility: stick a cutting in the ground, it grows into a mature vine. Stick a cane from an existing vine in the ground (layering) & it too becomes a new vine. All of these things have contributed to man’s long spiritual link with the vine & with wine.
