375ml bottles

Question:

I’ve seen various 750ml bottles for sale online but never 375ml.  I’d like to buy some as a way to have smaller servings for those times when only two glasses of wine is needed, and also for some mead batches. Thanks — www.frugalbrewer.com Spend money making wine and beer not on pricey frills for your gear

Beer bottles come pretty close in size, are relatively cheap, and have the advantage of being able to take a crown cap (better than those nasty old corks any day!!). You’d have to get a crown capper though. Dave

I’ve got plenty of beer bottles and a crown capper (I do homebrew as well) but they just don’t have the same "look" as a corked bottle does. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I’ve seen various 750ml bottles for sale online but never 375ml.  I’d like to buy some as a way to have smaller servings for those times when only two glasses of wine is needed, and also for some mead batches. I don’t know what country you’re in, but Presque Isle Wine Cellars has 375’s for about $12/case of 24.  www.piwine.com Dave
